    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=1">WebWiz-Bruce</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 17942<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 14&nbsp;January&nbsp;2006 at 2:10pm<br /><br />I doubt it will be that simple.<br><br>To get web wiz forums to work with mySQL 4.0 would take allot of work within the actual forum engine.<br><br>Most web host that support mySQL should be at least on version 4.1 by now.<br><br>4.1 has been around a number of years now and is considered very stable, so most hosts use this version, with more and more using mySQL 5<br><br>Maybe time to look for a new host, web Wiz Guides own hosting at <a href="http://www.webwiz.net" target="_blank">www.webwiz.net</a> supports mySQL 4.1 and the software will run on it.<br>]]>

I notice there are only acouple of actions that cause such a problem, since most of the forumseems to be working ok.<br><br>I have a problem with my host where they are not currently concedering to upgrade their mysql databases.<br>]]>
