I don't think I ever hit the 2 graphics in the bottom right corner but that would certainly explain the behavior. Had posts disappear on me when posting here - once last night, and once tonight.

In both instances, they were unmoderated forums that I had subscribed to.
Email Notify, Show Sig, and Forum Codes were all checked on the short rte box. Browser was FF 1.5.

Hitting "Post Reply" brought me to the "New Topic" rte page and the thread was not updated with my post.
