Hello,
I dont have solution for your question but I ruther want to expand on it...

I didn't find an option in the user's preferences to allow them to hide their online status. Is this feature not included or is it just that i didn't found it?

Hi, how can i not displaying the Admins and Moderators in the active users page?
 
I know have this:

This will only hide my position in the active users page.. but the meaning is to hide the positions of both the admin group as the moderator group...
