    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=1">WebWiz-Bruce</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 18488<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 24&nbsp;February&nbsp;2006 at 9:09am<br /><br />If you are using version 8 you are posting in the wrong forum.<br><br>For version 8 you need to post in the Version 8 beta testing forum.<br><br>Version 8 is still in Beta Testing and is not yet complete so should not be used on a production web server as it is unstable and you may not be able to upgrade to the final version once released (it does say all this on the Version 8 beta testing download page).<br><br>Beta 2 is about to be released for version 8 (again for testing ONLY and NOT to be used on a production server), in Beta 2 the way active users work has been completely re-written along with a completely new login and tracking system that required every single file to be altered.<br><br>If you are running your portal on a live server you should be using version 7.97 which is the present official stable release.<br>]]>

I think that currently only the visitors that hit the forum are counted. Correct me if Im wrong.</DIV>]]>
