You are right it did but finding out if a user is already subscribed to a topic requires an extra resource draining database hit, so now the link just says 'watch this topic for replies' all the time.

I hoping that more people will start using the RSS Feed which has now been extended to individual topics so you can be notified by the RSS Feed of a new post in the Topic you want to watch.

while using this site i noticed that i want to subscrible to a thread,
i click the "Watch this topic for replies" all well and good there

but if i want to unsubscrible, then i click "watch this topic for replies"

didnt version 7 change? saying "stop watching this topic" or something?
