    Okay... I did as you said. I removed the permissions and re-applied the permissions in the admin section again. It fixed everything except one section. the topics are not repeated, but one was seperated for some reason... other then that all the others are good



What can I try now?

Hi Borg,

I did the upgrade yesterday and people already started posting since yesterday morning. How can I fix the db without having to use the original one? There was an issue with the beta upgrade tool that was fixed yesterday, try running the upgrade tool again on the original database.

Failing that delete all entries in the table tblPermissions, then recreate the permissions in the admin section.

When you delete all the permissions in the tblPermissions table all your forums will disappear, but don't worry they will come back when you set the permissions.
