This works for version 7 and 8.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=1">WebWiz-Bruce</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 19049<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 30&nbsp;March&nbsp;2006 at 12:37pm<br /><br />This maybe difficult in version 7 with many pages needing to be changed.<br><br>However, in version 8 the login is handled by a function in one file called 'functions_login.asp'<br><br>However, because the web wiz forums uses a relational database any users need to be in the tblAuthors table in the database inorder for the forum to work, so you may still need to log users into the forum, unless you can create a whole new system that can interact with your present login system.<br>]]>

Thats like locking your door and leaving the key in the lock.<br><br>You would be much better using the web wiz forums login system as it is much more secure.<br><br>If you want to not have the CAPTCHA code to fill in have a look at version 8 RC1.1 as users only need to enter the CAPTCHA code after the 3 rd un-successful login.<br>]]>

Can I completely unsecure the forums?</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>The rest of the intranet is built in Dreamweaver so I am using DW's login behaviour and Restrict Access to Page function with various different levels of access.
