For performance reasons it gets the first 500 topics in the forum as most users are not going to go through 42 pages of posts.

However, all posts are still available. If you click the 'Last Post' column title wording you can reverse the date order and therefore see the first posts in that forum at the top of the page.

You can also change the order on all columns in the table.

I'm going to keep a close eye on this and if it proves to be an issue I will look into another method of getting posts, but retreving over 500 topic titles at once would be a big performance hit and would mean slower page loading times.

To change this yourself change the following line in forum_topics.asp:-

Const intMaxResults = 500

Increase this to whatever number you wish, but you will have a performance hit when returning more than 500 topic titles.

I havn�t thought about this before, and I dont remember how version 7.9 did.. But I have been using WWF since 2002. After upgrading to version 8 RC 1.1, I can not find/see messages further back than around June 2005.

I my General forum I can go 42 pages back, which shows me the message from June 2005. But I know for sure there are alot of more messages in that forum. Isn�t it possible to chose to see ALL messages in a forum?
