This is by design.

Have a look in the default.asp file, it ads up the total online viewers in there.

Hi borg,
Is there any option to display all the viewers of one forum, and its sub forums?
I checked and see that the forum views display, count only the viewers of the forum, and not the sub-forums in it.
 
If this is by design, can you redirect me to the place where I should make changes, if this is possible at all?
