I assume any antivirus software that blocks java would have the same problem. I've never heard the expression MacNaffee but it raised a smile and will probably stick! I've not had any viruses with Enterprise edition but I acknowledge your own experiences and preferences.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I will assume only the WYSIWYG editor is affected.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I'm gonna just let it run and see how many people complain before considering how to deal with it.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Otherwise...all else still running well after the overnight upgrade !</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=1">WebWiz-Bruce</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 19395<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 18&nbsp;April&nbsp;2006 at 4:28pm<br /><br />Also, maybe worth pointing those MacNaffee users at the free AVG Anti-virus software, it's much better and free.<br><br>I gave up using MacNaffee years ago as it simply didn't stop allot of viruses coming through.<br><br>I can get upwards of 300 viruses a day at web wiz guide so need a good anti-virus software and AVG seems to do the job well.<br><br>I now have the network edition of AVG installed on the email server and have not seen a virus for 6 months since installing it.<br>]]>

It seems to be connected with this option although results are inconsistent. Maybe this is what Mikey is seeing.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Ignoring the server, the problem affects all forum members who use VirusScan with its default settings. They are unable to edit their posts and perhaps there are other restrictions brought about by script blocking that we should make them aware of?</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>A lot of people use VirusScan. Should they all switch off this security feature, do without editing their posts or could a forum software change solve the problem?</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>My preferred workaround for now is to switch off the security option only temporarily when I wish to edit. </DIV>]]>
