Backup'd the sql db (running MS SQL2000) Ran the database converter for 7 - 8, it advised all updated fine.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Login to forum using the admin.asp page.&nbsp; Login ok using current user/pass.&nbsp; Looked at all the settings, all are correct.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Goto the main default.asp page and I get this:</DIV><DIV>--------------------------------------------------</DIV><DIV><strong>Server Error in Forum Application<BR></strong>An error has occured while connecting to the database.<BR>Please contact the forum administrator.<BR><BR><strong>Support Error Code:-</strong> err_SQLServer_db_connection<BR><strong>File Name:-</strong> common.asp<BR><BR><strong>Error details:-</strong><BR>Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server<BR>Invalid authorization specification</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>---------------------------------------------------</DIV><DIV><BR>I'm lost (for now).&nbsp; I can't see how I could have wrong auth for the db if the admin section runs.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>-puzzled-<IMG height=17 alt=C&#111;nfused src="https://forums.webwiz.net/smileys/smiley5.gif" width=17 align=absMiddle border="0"></DIV>]]>
