The admin area uses a separate login from Windows Authentication, what you will need to do is go to the page 'admin.asp' in your web browser and login with the default admin username and password, if this isn't already changed. Once you do this I would also set your own personal windows authentication account as an admin account by placing your forum membership in the admin group.

2. This sounds like one of your windows authentication usernames is the same as another one of your windows authentication usernames. Is this correct? If so could you let me know if it is common for more than 1 user to have the same username? At the moment the system can only have 1 user with a particular username.

3. I don't think that ASP is able to get the NT Usergroup details (please let me know if I am wrong). This means that auto placing users in forum groups based on NT Groups would not be possible, but once you login as the admin you can move members to different user groups within the forum system and create new user groups.
