Posts are identified internally by a unique ID number, not be the subject, so I can't see how this can happen.

Check you don't have a corrupted file by reuploading the files again and re-run your tests.

If it still happens please post a step by step guide on how you did your test so that this can be replicated.

Ok if someone posts a topic with the same name as a prior topic the forum will hide the old topic.
 
Is there anyway to modify something to not allow dup posts with the same topic?
 
You can do a search and find the topic via the posts linked to it but as for showing in the forum it will only show the latest one.
 
Any ideas?
