SInce doing so, when someone tries too post a new post I get:

Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occured while writing to the database.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_SQLServer_save_new_post_data
File Name:- new_post.asp

Error details:-
ADODB.Recordset
Current Recordset does not support updating. This may be a limitation of the provider, or of the selected locktype.

I've searched the forums and seen that people get this when they migrate in from Access. I've also noted the comments have been to check that sql created the default values (which it didnt).

I've been through the database adding the default values but still get this error message.

ANy idea what I'm missing/what causes this?

Thanks in advance, Rav
