I might want to let them change things like MSN, Yahoo etc but I want to stop them changing their password.

I know that if they change the password it will be ignored because it is using the password from my login system but believe me, the users of this forum are, shall we say, challenging...and if they change their password thru the forum, they think they've changed it for logging in!

Thanks for all your hard work. I've been using WWG apps for 2 or 3 years now and they just keep getting better.

Anyway, my problem. I have my own login app which I have successfully integrated with WWg Forum, except for one problem.

I want to prevent users changing their passwords (so it can only be done via my logon app)

When I go to register.asp, I see the code that generates the "Enter password" fields and if I remove it, when I click the Update Profile button, I get taken to Insufficient_Permission.asp

Please help

Mike

Edited by manufan - 28 May 2006 at 10:42pm
