    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=21150">midnight24</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 20162<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 04&nbsp;June&nbsp;2006 at 8:01am<br /><br /><DIV>Well I have managed to screw up the 7.x-8 upgrade as much as humanly possible.&nbsp; The only saving grace is that I have a backup of my original database.&nbsp; </DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I had error reports from the access_update.asp file, but I still went ahead and removed all 7x files from the server and upgraded to 8.&nbsp; Then I was having trouble editing the database_connection.asp, so I just moved the database into the new folder, and it conflicted with the database on the server, blah blah,&nbsp;and after moving everything around due to frustration&nbsp;I have no f'ng clue where to go.&nbsp; </DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I am willing to pay for the link removal key again if it will save me the time and frustration of figuring out what went wrong.&nbsp; So, I have my 7x database (dforumb.mdb) - is there an easy way to&nbsp;install the new 8 full version, connect it to my previous database, then pay for the link removal key again?&nbsp; Any suggestions would be great, thanks.</DIV>]]>
