    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=1">WebWiz-Bruce</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 20464<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 28&nbsp;June&nbsp;2006 at 7:28am<br /><br />It sounds like the server you are using has issues holding the ASP session, often due to problems with the servers application pool.<br><br>If you can't get the server issues fixed then you can alter Web Wiz Forums to use the database to store session data, although it will put more strain on the database, so you should use the mySQL or SQL Server versions for this.<br><br>To enable web wiz forums to use the database to store session data, open the file 'functions/functions_session_data.asp' in notepad then near the top of the file you will find the following variable that needs to be changed to True like below:-<br><br>Const blnDatabaseHeldSessions = True<br><br>There are notes in this file and is very simple to do.<br>]]>
