Godaddy run a very old version of mySQL that is not supported by web wiz forums.

This has been bought up a number of times and it seems that GoDaddy say that you have to upgrade to a dedicated server to get a newer version of mySQL.

From posts on this forum, GoDaddy seem to be one web host worth avoiding.

I'm having trouble when installing new webwiz forum.
i have a godaddy.com hosting plan with windows i did all the thing indicated on the guide but i retrieve this error:
Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occured while executing SQL query on database.
Please check that the MySQL Server version is 4.1 or above.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_mySQL_get_birthdays

Error details:-
