    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=1">WebWiz-Bruce</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 20738<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 18&nbsp;July&nbsp;2006 at 2:23pm<br /><br />There was an XSS security problem with image tags that effected versions prior to version 8.03 which was released in rather a hurry to patch this problem, before it became an issue.<br><br>This has meant a few problems such as the one you mention when posting images particularly in IE using the RTE WYSIWYG Editor, as IE's built in RTE API&nbsp; produces some bad non standards compliant HTML for image tags which screwed up the whole new function for cleaning up XXS from image tags.<br><br>This has now been solved for the next release by completely re-writing the code for the function that cleans up image tags, which will be available in the next release.<br>]]>

Although the preview shows me the desired result, the final posted message does not. Checking the generated HTML shows that there is no align attribute in the IMG-tag. How can this be? In previous (beta) versions of WWF8 this worked OK.</P>]]>
