There was an XSS security problem with image tags that effected versions prior to version 8.03 which was released in rather a hurry to patch this problem, before it became an issue.

This has meant a few problems such as the one you mention when posting images particularly in IE using the RTE WYSIWYG Editor, as IE's built in RTE API  produces some bad non standards compliant HTML for image tags which screwed up the whole new function for cleaning up XXS from image tags.

This has now been solved for the next release by completely re-writing the code for the function that cleans up image tags, which will be available in the next release.

I try to align an uploaded picture in my WWF forum left or right. Although the preview shows me the desired result, the final posted message does not. Checking the generated HTML shows that there is no align attribute in the IMG-tag. How can this be? In previous (beta) versions of WWF8 this worked OK.
