When you do this the only thing that needs to be reset are the forum permissions as a new permissions system is used in version 8.<br><br>Once this is done checkout some of the other posts in this forum to see how others have upsized their Access database to SQL Server, but it seems that people are finding it simpler to use the migration tools available from the mySQL site to move from Access to mySQL instead.<br>]]>

First MDB7 to MDB8 and then MDB8 to SQL8? Are both steps&nbsp;automated or should I take some steps manually? Are there any common pitfalls?
