The version in use looks like a version 3 or 3 from over 5 years ago when the forum was relatively new (before it even had the name web wiz forums).

As a result there probably isn't any simple way to upgrade apart from adding all the new fields etc. manually to the database.

Hi there,

I am assisting someone who has a very popular forum but has not upgraded it since 2001!

The site is http://www.wavescape.co.za/forum

I am not even sure of the exact version, all the source code says is '

The forum is currently giving errors and I am going to try and take this
opportunity to upgrade the forum.

Am I fighting a lost cause?

Can anyone give me any insight into what I need to do to get this done?

I have worked with PHPBB forums before, but not web wiz, web wiz forums look great!
