Author: dtrose
Subject: 21010
Posted: 12 August 2006 at 8:24pm

I have been reading similar threads but haven't found the exact answer to date. I use Spooky Login for parts of my website at www.neopc.org and also have the Forum, Ver. 8.02 in place. I want to be able to kill the automatic feed back of a "Forgotten Password" in Forum and I also want to revert to the Login database pertaining to Spooky. I started all our members out with common logins and passwords in both databases. I also have the membership closed for subscriptions. When they utilize the Forum password feedback feature a new password is assigned for the Forum, but now the members have two passwords, one for each segment of the website. I did notice previous comments about the "functions_member_API.asp" file and somewhat feel that it can solve my problem. However not being too well versed on the programming aspects of this, I question as to where in the Spooky files do I place the "Session" variables mentioned there. I also would like to know the proper variable names for the Spooky variables. What else do I need to know? One other possibility would be to somehow feed back the original password. Could that be setup in the Forum somehow.
