    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=1">WebWiz-Bruce</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 21078<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 20&nbsp;August&nbsp;2006 at 8:57am<br /><br />The security it gives makes it 1000 times harder for a hacker to hack into the admin or any other account in the forum.<br><br>It also helps with security when using PC's in a public place, like a library or internet café, where stored cookies, URL's, and cached pages on the machine can be used to access the forum as a different user.<br><br>Deactivating this is NOT recommended and would leave your forum open to potential hackers.<br>]]>

Some of them use multiple machines, and they want to stay logged in on both so they don't have to login every time they switch machines.<br><br>Has anyone done anything like this in a MOD? Is there any downside? Is there a reason the code auto-log's you out when you enter the forums on a second machine?<br>]]>
