Your answer is within the error message:-

Please check that the MySQL Server version is 4.1 or above. [MySQL][ODBC3.51 Driver][mysqld-4.0.20a-nt]

You need to use mySQL 4.1 or above, you are using mySQL 4.0.20 which doesn't support sub queries required for Web Wiz Forums to work.

Solved the first problem, now I have another one (database is installed)

foutmelding doet zich enkel voor in de pagina default.asp, active_topics.asp & calendar.asp. de rest werkt goed.
