Thanks borg.

for some reason, in the Admin -> File [...] Cfg I have no option to enable or disable uploads other than the avatar option.

I really want to avoid people uploading files/pictures through the forum.

From what I understand, its there, but the only way to avoid users to upload files is to play with the User Group Permissions. Is that correct?

In the page Admin -> File and Image Upload Configuration

By default it is disabled, so it will only be available if you have enabled it in the page above and given users/groups permission to upload in forums using the permissions system.

Security Warning - Please Read
Allowing users to upload their own files and images requires that writeand modify permissions are enabled on the upload directory. This can bea security issue as a hacker can use this to hack a web site. If youare concerned about security DO NOT ENABLE UPLOAD FEATURES!!


Maybe I missed it, but where does one enable/disable the images/files upload?
