    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=1">WebWiz-Bruce</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 21587<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 13&nbsp;October&nbsp;2006 at 10:07am<br /><br />It sounds like this is a setup issue with SQL Server, so you maybe better asking at a SQL Server dedicated site.<br><br>But a few thinsg to check, make sure that SQL Server Express is setup to allow TCP/IP connections to it.<br><br>Also, SQL Express sets up with the default instance name SQLEXPRESS, so when connection to it on a local host PC you would use the following server name connection:-<br><br>localhost\SQLEXPRESS<br>]]>

Running msSQL-server_setup.asp shows a dialog that requests login information for the database. &nbsp;After entering the requested data and pressing continue a message I issued saying that the database can’t be accessed. <o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P><P =Ms&#111;normal><FONT face=Arial size=2><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt">How can I trouble shot the ISS to database connection, or where can I find instructions to correctly setup user rights? <o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P><P =Ms&#111;normal><FONT face=Arial size=2><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt">Cant any one please give me a hint?<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P><P =Ms&#111;normal><FONT face=Arial size=2><SPAN lang=DE-CH style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt">Thk Henry<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P><P =Ms&#111;normal><FONT face=Arial size=2><SPAN lang=DE-CH style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt"><o:p>&nbsp;</o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>]]>
