It sounds like you have selected that your browser remembers passwords for that page, so your browser is automatically populating the field with the password it thinks you want.

If you clear the field manually or tell the browser not to populate the password field it should fix the problem.

Hi,

As my forum's admin, when I try to change a member's registration details one of the password fields shows some ***** but the second one is empty and therefore I can't change other fields because it gives an error that the passwords don't match.

I use v8.01 and Firefox 1.5.0.7 on Ubuntu Dapper.

Any ideas?
