Web Wiz Forums does work with mySQL 5, our own hosted solutions of Web Wiz Forums at www.webwiz.net use mySQL 5, so can 100% sya it works fine with this version.

On line 207 of database/database_connection.asp you will find the following line:-


strCon = "Driver={MySQL ODBC 3.51 Driver};Port=3306;Option=3;" & strCon



Change the part in red to your new mySQL port number.

i got a mysql server with this port:

how can i make the forum work with this port?! its not the default port and there is no place for me to write the server port...
