That's a good point. I wouldn't recommend it. If you delete a member with all his/her posts it will make the forum look bad when someone reads through posts to find that some people are talking to themselves...!

I'd rather create a new group called Suspended members or check the "Suspend member" through their profile which will disable their account.

I just tried it out on one of my forums and i can confirm that it does indeed leave all there posts as 'Guest' posts

Maybe an option next to the 'delete member' checkbox that adds the option to remove their posts as well would be nice???

I was under the impression that posts will be under Guest as soon as you deleted someone. I thought that the posts were left in place but the poster username displayed as Guest?

Click on members name
Click 'Edit this members forum settings'
Click 'Edit Profile'

Right at the bottom just before the 'Update Profile' submit button there is a checkbox labeled 'Check this box to delete this member, this cannot be undone.'

place a tick in that box and submit the form, accept the warning and continue.

That will delete the member plus all their posts. Clap
