I got around this myself by creating an SQL script containing the contents and schema of the tables, that when run recreated those tables (with the data) on another MySQL install.]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=24038">SMR Group</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 22137<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 07&nbsp;December&nbsp;2006 at 12:30am<br /><br />boRg,<br><br>I've got a backup of my board sitting on a second machine.&nbsp; The only way I've found to copy the MySQL tables across, is to back them up as .DBF on the live board, then import them into each existing table (from the .DBF) on the standby board.<br><br>It would be a lot easier to just stop/start MySQL and cut 'n' paste the files, but if I do that the board gives me:<br><br><font color="#0000ff" face="Courier New, Courier, mono">Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers<br>&#091;MySQL&#093;&#091;ODBC 3.51 Driver&#093;&#091;mysqld-5.0.24a-community-nt&#093;Incorrect information in file: '.\mydatabase\tblcategory.frm'</font><br><br>Do you know what the cause of that is, and perhaps a quick fix?&nbsp; Thanks.<br>]]>
