I don't have an MX record for my subdomain (no-ip.com) so how do I configure the SMTP server? any tips ya got will help me? OR will AspEmail or JMail products solve my problem?

I was hoping that Web Wiz could use my ISP's smtp just like my Router (my router emails my log files several times a day). I'm trying to avoid setting up a mail server for security reasons (Spam relais and other potential hacking posibilities).

I'm stilll learning Web Wiz (noob) lol so what ever you suggest I will try. BTW Web Wiz is a great product, I have researched atleast 8 to 10 other asp forum software and this is to me the best and my gaming clan really likes it, just thought I would mention that.

Most cable companies do except for business plans. I have just started this project 2 weeks ago. All the registered members of the forum can't send any emails, we all get this error message:

Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occured while sending an email.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_Access_send_mail_footer
File Name:- functions_send_mail.asp

Error details:-
CDO.Message.1
The transport failed to connect to the server.

I don't think that its a problem with my ISP since I have my router email my firewall log when it is full and it has been doing it for several months.

I am using the CDOSYS function to email. My server is a W2K3, 1.8Ghz, 1gb of ram. I have internet with my cable company (5.6mbs down and 900kbs up)

My IIS setup does not include the smtp functionality. Its probably something very stupid that I haven't enabled on my server but I'm running out of ideas.

Any help or comments would be nice.
