I'm running ver 8.04.  It seems that "Guests" can access the member list.  Any way to stop that?

Nope, when someone tries to view the page all they see is the 'no permission' warning but when you view the active users it looks as if they are looking at the actual page.
Take it from me that guests cannot bypass the lock down.

Hey All

have a forum setup at www.sotoncityexplorers.co.uk/forum/

Due to the nature of the site and rules and regs laid down by the scoutting association this forum needed to be locked down so that only memebers can browse the site.

the guest account only has access to the help forum on the site...

however have noticed that the guest account is being used and on the active pages that guest account is veiwing the main forum index this is the same when a google spider is on the site! even though in the robots.txt i have specified to leave this folder alone am i missing something or is this a hacker?
