The upgrade tool is for updating Web Wiz Forums version 7 database to version 8, unless you are running an old 7.x version of web wiz forums it will not do anything.

Web Wiz Forums version 8 may run on SQL Server 7 but as this version of SQL Server is very old it has not been tested, but I can't see any reason why it shouldn't work.

I am currently using a SQL 7 database that I'd like use for Web Wiz.  I downloaded the new version of WebWiz along with the MS SQL Server Version 7.x to 8.x Database Upgrade Tool v1.

Am I correct in thinking that if I run the tool on my sql7 database, that Webwiz version 8 will work?  And... is there any documentation on doing this... I couldn't find any.
