    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=16068">topduck</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 22523<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 26&nbsp;January&nbsp;2007 at 5:25am<br /><br />Hi<br>Is there a way to bypass the upload components and use the pure asp upload instead like it was with older version of the forum.<br><br>My host doesn't have any of the components used with version 8 installed and it took me almost a week to make them understand what the hell is going on, after many hours on the phone to their support they finally said they would install one so we can use the upload function with this forum,<br>they came back and asked me where could they download it from and how about copy rights and on and on and on...<br>I send them all the info they need and where to download the files from, after two days the came back and told me they would install dundas for me providing I pay them $100 an hour for installing the component,<br>after many long talks I agreed to pay but they turned around and said it might take few hours... so I told them to shove it where the sun doesn't shine <br>believe it or not I host with on of the largest companies in the US ( www.ait.com) and they don't have asp upload component installed ...<br><br>so if anyone&nbsp; know&nbsp; how to bypass the upload components please let me know <br><br><br><br>Borg can you please include the pure asp upload ( no component ) as an option for people like me who are stuck with an idiot of a host ...<br><br>thanks in advance<br><br>TopDuck<br> ]]>
