Got a bit more info on this....
 
The row that is says cannot be updated is "User_code" in the Author table.
 
The user code for the update exists, and it is different to the one in the database already.
 
- I'm not sure exactly what this usercode is all about to be honest. - I'll read up on that, but any ideas why this row cannot be updated?
 
EDIT**
Should the field "user_code" be a 'UNI' unique one?

When a user trys to update their profile I get this error...
 
Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occured while writing to the database.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_mySQL_update_USR
File Name:- register.asp

Error details:-
Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers
Query-based update failed because the row to update could not be found.
