I have fixed the uploading problem by having my host reset my account.
 
I still have the e-mail error.  I will update you if I find out what is wrong.

I applied the patch to upgrade to 8.05a, basically just replacing the functions_filters.asp.

Ever since that time I users get errors when uploading files and send PMs.
 
Here are the errors respectivly.

Permission denied
 
These functions have always worked.
 
Things I have done:
*downloaded and re-uploaded the functions_filters.asp.
*downloaded and re-uploaded everything in the functions folder.
*Permissions have been set to 777 so there shouldn't be a permission issue.
*check the configuration in the admin section.  Everything looks fine.  I even saved the configuration again, just to make sure.
 
If anyone could help I would appreciate it.
