    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=26416">nugentgl</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 23468<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 06&nbsp;June&nbsp;2007 at 5:02pm<br /><br />OK, here is what I am doing.<DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>1.&nbsp; browsing to forum/admin.asp and logon as Admin</DIV><DIV>2.&nbsp; Go to Membership Administration</DIV><DIV>3.&nbsp; Click on a user I want to change group membership on</DIV><DIV>4.&nbsp; Click the button at the bottom that says "Edit this members forum settings".&nbsp; Before I click the button, I notice at the top that there is a link to Admin and Hidden Topics along with the other links (Active Topics, Memberlist, etc.).</DIV><DIV>5.&nbsp; Once I click the button, I am directed to the Member Control Panel Menu and the Admin link above is gone.&nbsp; </DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>I think this is where I am having the problem.&nbsp; If I click Edit Profile, the next page shows the username as my Windows username instead of the user I clicked to edit.&nbsp; How do I logon as Admin without it logging me in as my Windows username?</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV>]]>

There is a drop down list of the available groups, select the one you want the user to be in. then update the profile.
