   <title><![CDATA[Can&#039;t configure for MSSQL : I&amp;#039;m trying to test WWF with...]]></title>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=26463">jkiester</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 23513<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 13&nbsp;June&nbsp;2007 at 3:58am<br /><br />I'm trying to test WWF with MSSQL 2000 and am not able to complete the msSQL_server_setup.asp setup.&nbsp; All I get is an error (just like the others in this forum).&nbsp; When I run the page, I get the following error:<BLOCKQUOTE dir=ltr style="MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px"><DIV><FONT size=2><strong>Error Connecting to database on SQL Server<BR><BR></strong>Check the following is set up and correct:- <BR><BR>SQL Server User Name<BR>SQL Server Password<BR>Name of the SQL Server<BR>Database name set up by you on the server<BR>Empty Database set up by you on the SQL Server<BR><BR>Check also that you have entered the correct details in the file 'database_connection.asp' found in the 'database' directory.</FONT><BR></DIV></BLOCKQUOTE><DIV>Here's my entries from the database_connection.asp modification:</DIV><BLOCKQUOTE dir=ltr style="MARGIN-RIGHT: 0px"><DIV>&nbsp;strSQLServerName = "10.1.1.11" 'Holds the name of the SQL Server (This is the name/location or IP address of the SQL Server)<BR>&nbsp;strSQLDBUserName = "sa" 'Holds the user name (for SQL Server Authentication)<BR>&nbsp;strSQLDBPassword = "**********" 'Holds the&nbsp;SA password (for SQL Server Authentication)<BR>&nbsp;strSQLDBName = "rokforums" &nbsp;'Holds the name of the database</DIV></BLOCKQUOTE><DIV>I can connect&nbsp;to&nbsp;the blank MSSQL database "rokforums" via Query Analyzer with the above credentials so MSSQL&nbsp;is running in mixed authentication mode.
