Building a good CSS WYSIWYG editor would be allot of work, besides why reinvent the wheel when you have WYSIWYG CSS Editing software already available like Top Style Pro.

There are pre includes skins with version 9 selectable from the admin area, if you don't like them open the default CSS file in Top Style Pro and you can edit it with this WYSIWYG CSS Editor.

You can copy one of the supplied CSS files and edit it to your taste.

There is no WYSIWYG tool that previews the forum as you go. And sometimes you need to experiment to know which attribute does what.

But if you create a test area (copy of /forum) it is easy to edit the CSS in notepad (or otherwise) and keep hitting refresh in your browser.

boRg, Could you provide a little more info?

I am speaking more about the forum "look" itself. What can I use to customise the look, for example the bars across, icons, header, color changes, etc.. to make the forum with "my own" look to it?

As far as I know the RTE only does text. But what about the way the forum is laid out, colored, etc... I have looked into one of your forums here where you have people posting what their web wiz forums look like and they look quite different than the templates you provide. This is what I am after, is what software do I use to customise the look of the forum?

I personally hope there is a "what you see is what you get" style editor available...something like StyleMaster software, to edit the look of my forum.

The editor can not just be swapped over with another editor as it is tightly integrated into the software as the editor is our own in house Web Wiz Rich text Editor.

However, many functions not needed in forums have been disabled, they can be re-enabled by editing the RTE_configuration/RTE_setup.asp file in notepad.

I am so used to making sites with Dreamweaver that I really need the visual aspect of what I am doing.
