Web Wiz Forums works fine with both SQL Server 2000 and 2005 including 64 bit editions.

The error suggests that the database server can not be connected to. Check with your host they have not changed the IP address or location of the SQL Server.

my hosting company recently moved servers
 
everything else on my site is working fine
 
ive checked the connection string and it is correct
 
they move did upgrade my ms sql server to 2005?
 
i think it was 2003 or 2000 before, should this make a difference?
