I have noticed a quite interesting problem. The user is generally logged in without a problem, but occasionally, when the user attempts to log in to the forum, they are not actually logged into the forum, though they should be. When they click on "delete cookes set by forum", they are then automatically logged in. It is as if another cookie were blocking the new cookie.

A similar issue is when I log in... do not log off... and then attempt to log in with a second username. The forum still shows the username of the first user logged in rather than updating to the new user.

Any thoughts on what would cause this?

Oh, I am using IE 7 and Firefox 2.

Edited by brianmisty - 22 August 2007 at 9:30pm
