Dj air thanks for your reply. I know almost nothing about coding. Should I search for this entry in forum_topics.asp file? I found it in that file on a few lines but I didnt see any value after the equal symbol. If you don't konw, no problem, I try to figure out.

i see what you mean.

this can not be done by a option in the forum , you would have to code that yourself .

the query would need to change from catID = x to (CAtID = x OR SubCatID = x)


not exact code but example of what needs doing

Hi. Is there any way to show posts in a sub forum also in the parent forum where this sub forum belongs? More clearly, if a message is posted in a sub forum, I want this message to appear also in the main forum. By this way it would be easier to reach those posts for the ones who dont like to use sub forums.
