At home I have IE7 and Firefox... and have no issues loading pages... but at work... I even get embarassed to show my forum to my co workers... because with V9 it loads so very slow for&nbsp; them that they would just leave, i'm afraid. <DIV>I also wanted to setup a forum for my team, and was about to post a question regarding licencing when used in an intranet.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Here is a quick screen shot from my community forum:</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;<img src="forum_images/blank.gif" height="460" width="486" border="0" /></DIV>]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=1">WebWiz-Bruce</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 24319<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 03&nbsp;September&nbsp;2007 at 7:56pm<br /><br />Why annyone would think IE 6 is better than IE 7 is beyond me, has to be the worst browser in common use at this present time.<br><br>Tried using gif's for IE 5.5 and 6 and the whole forum just look absolutely cack.<br><br>Recent statistics from a large range of sites that we host have sown a large drop in the use of IE 6 over the last 6 weeks as it looks like allot of people are finally moving over to IE 7.<br><br>The uptake of Vista also seems to be slowly creeping up, which could be done to the performance update MS released, as Vista is now starting to run sweet as a nut, but will more likely need SP1 before large corps considering moving over.<br><span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by -boRg- - 03&nbsp;September&nbsp;2007 at 8:00pm</span>]]>

A lot of companies have decided not to upgrade to IE 7 because they think it's a bad browser or was a Vista-intended browser, and slows down the computer.</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>At work, When I try to view the forum I would have to wait a lot for png images to load on the page everytime I vist any page, where as in version 8 everything was super fast!</DIV><DIV>&nbsp;</DIV><DIV>Is there any suggestion on how to improve this? maybe replace all png images with gif images?</DIV>]]>
