    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://forums.webwiz.net/member_profile.asp?PF=1">WebWiz-Bruce</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 24367<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 08&nbsp;September&nbsp;2007 at 9:53am<br /><br />The forum already offers protection against multiple bad login attempts.<br><br>After 3 unsuccessful login attempts for an account, they then have to fill in a CAPTCHA security code image for any further login attempts, slowing down the user and preventing brute force and password bot attacks.<br><br>The user is also alerted to 3 failed login attempts when they next login, so they can investigate further if it was not themselves who made the repeated login attempts on their account.<br>]]>

Please press the backbutton, enter the correct details and try again. Don't forget that thepassword is case sensitive. Forgotten your password? Click here!<br><br>You have used 1 out of 5 login attempts. After all 5 have been used, you will be unable to login for 5 minutes."]]>
