Since they aren't a member of a group that's assigned to that forum, should they be able to see it in their email notification pulldown list? (I have a user saying she can't set up email notifications to a subforum that I've added her to, where she's not in a group that can access the parent forum).]]>

It does not work like NTFS permissions... it's just the way it is organized. When admins setup a sub forum they have to give it permissions and tell it which groups can access it... so parent permissions are separate.]]>
