The forums are not running on the same database. are the forums running on the same database, with the same tables?

if so you'll need to hack the files to hardcode the links in

if not then it *could* be a conflict of the cached info, though im afraid i cant remember how V7 worked.

if you could give more details on how there actually setup then i can help better

Hi,
Really sorry to post here in the wrong forum but I'm stuck with an old version of the forum (7.96) on a client's website which I do not have the time to upgrade to a newer version.

The client wants one public forum and another one for logged in users and of course, the two forums are messing with each other. All email's sent out from both forums contain links to either A or B.

So for example, when you register yourself on the public forum, you get a validation email saying "click this link" and it takes you to the private forum's url + validation page asp file.

I want these two forums to be completely separate.

Anyone up for this? I'd appreciate it *enourmously*.
