My system has no registry entries for AspSmartUpload, so I ran into a dead end. If your system does have the registry values, this key might be the one causing you trouble. If you don't have it in your registry either, I might consider trying to install it again. I had to do that once to get AspSmartUpload to work properly after moving the forums to a new machine.

This is the Registry key you should check for:

<font ="ParaText"> Key : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Advantys\aspSmartUpload
Value : AllowedFilesList

Good Luck!

Each file type must be separated by a semi-colon. Make sure the file types have the period before them. (.doc;.zip;.pdf, etc.) I don't have a semi-colon trailing the last file type listed, so check that in case it makes a difference.
Remember to save the new configuration when you're done.

Edited by stonecutter - 01 November 2007 at 3:55pm
