You should also look at using mySQL or SQL Server as Access is renowned for issues and can only cope with a handful of users, and with MS not updating the JET db driver to x64 I doubt that it will be supported for much longer in the web environment.

I just loaded Version 9 Access Ed. onto my server. The problem I'm having is when I login to the server and click OK I receive the following error:
 
Server Error in Forum Application
An error has occurred while writing to the database.
Please contact the forum administrator.

Support Error Code:- err_Access_loginUser()_update_USR_Code
File Name:- functions_login.asp

Error details:-
Microsoft JET Database Engine
Cannot update. Database or object is read-only.
 
What is causing the error and what can I do to fix it?
