The file database_connection.asp is in both version 8 and version 9.

If you download the latest release there are database upgrade tools that will upgrade your database to version 9.x keeping your existing members and posts.

Urgent
today i got hacked
my fault i never moved the db out of the root directory
the reason is because i cannot find the database_connection.asp file anywhere on my system.
 
is it in the default or the common.asp
 
if i upgrade to version 9 will i lose all the post in the database
 
my hosting company were able to restore the db back 24 hours but i need to sort it before the hacker comes back
 
anyone help?
