This has been discussed before. The reason why it limits the topics is to increase the forum performance and its less stress on the server.

If you do a search, you will find a few topics on the subject.

In a forum, i listed and choose from drop down menu "All topics". But I couldnt go to so old topics. For example there are 3000 forum topics in a forum (shown in main page) but when i enter the forum i couldnt see all of them? I can just listed just max. 15 page and 34 topic in every page... So i can listed approximately 34x15= 510 topics...

Why i couldnt see all topics?
